         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday, December 2, 2011:   Mark and Paula toured downtown Minneapolis stopping at the IDS Center. 

Good looking Christmas tree. 

Then it was off to Gavidae Common where this bird flies high above. 
They it was time for dinner at Murrays Restaurant in downtown Minneapolis.  Waiter Shane carved a 28 ounce strip sirloin steak for Mark and Paula.  This was a meal fit for a king.
With the special blue-cheese topping, it is known as the Silver Butterknife Steak for two.  This is the specialty of the house and well worth ordering....at least once in a lifetime. 

You don't get steak any better than this.

The scenery outside the restaurant is worth seeing at night too.
