         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Tuesday, October 4, 2011:  Trees along Riverside Drive were showing their colors.  It was a bright day with mostly blue skies.

Mark and Paula headed to the Pillsbury State Forest about 15 miles northwest of Brainerd. 

Paula was out there with her camera catching the scenery.
There was a lot to see even if the leaves had just past their peak.
County Road 77 on the west side of Gull Lake south of Bar Harbor.
A park northwest of Gull Lake has a nice leaf covered trail. 
There was a babbling brook running through it.
Sunset as seen from the east side of Gull Lake.  A couple of fishing boats were out in the hope of catching another one.   
Another boat headed out after sunset to join them.
