January 29, 2010:  Mark and Paula checked into the South Pier Inn, which is at the Park Point end of the Aerial Bridge in Duluth, MN.

This bridge is the famous landmark in Duluth.  Here it is reflecting golden color from the sun which is about to set in the west.

What a sunset it was with almost clear skies and cold temperatures of around zero degrees.

Paula and Mark headed to the Red Lobster restaurant for an evening meal.  There were plenty of reminders of this seagoing town, not to mention the fish dinner.
