October 25, 2008: Paula "Deep Diver" Persons went diving with a group from the Minnesota School of Diving. They carved pumpkins underwater. Paula is here showing off her winning entry. Click on the photo for a larger view. |

October 29, 2008: Dale Olmstead, KCØOTB, from Coon Rapids, MN, visited Gilbert Lodge. He owned KKCQ Radio in Fosston, MN, and KKAQ/KKDQ Radio in Thief River Falls, MN, at one time. Dale is now retired and loving it. The photo shows him imitating announcer Gary Owens on a Laugh In television show from the 1960's cupping his ear and using an RCA 77-DX microphone. There is also a tower monkey trying to grab Dale's left arm. |
