Monday, June 29, 2020:  Deep Diver Paula suited up to dive in Gilbert Lake with her underwater camera.

She searched for and found Northern Water Milfoil.  She thought it was invasive Eurasian Watermilfoil.
Paula had removed Eurasian milfoil from White Sands Lake in Baxter the day before under the direction of the DNR.
As it turns out, the two look a lot alike.  The Norhern Water type is natural and OK.
Mark operated a canoe gathering what Paula brought to the surface.  Note the dive flag.
He spent time hovering over Paula's bubbles to be there when she brought the milfoil up. 

Paula is seen here with the pile, which was transported to the dock via the canoe and then carried off by hand.
