and Paula stopped at the
All Veterans Memorial. It is at fourth and Laurel Streets, next to the Crow Wing County Courthouse. |

They came to see flowers growing and plan for what might be required
soon to improve the appearance. |
 |
|
Paula loves gardening. This day she was spreading cedar mulch to
improve the island at Gilbert Lodge. |
 |
|
A full moon was seen a few days later, even before sunset, at
the Lodge. |
 |
|
At night it was clearly seen. A man and a woman were out
looking at the moon one night. She said, "Isn't it beautiful?" He said, "yes, but you should have seen it before they walked on it!" |
