is a rich Native-American heritage in the area. |

| Blue
skies almost every day with great visibility. |

| About 27 miles out of Santa Fe,
Mark and Paula came across these signs. Hmmm! |

| Next stop, Madrid, New Mexico,
population 200. |
 |
| An artist and tourism
community. |
 |
| One store had everything. |
 |
| Then it was back across the
countryside. |
 |
| Mark and Paula rented a
Chrysler 300 for their time in New Mexico. The car's navigation told a story. Old Route 66 is in the area. That's right, the Mother Road winds through Santa Fe on its way from Chicago to Los Angeles. |
